Hollinswood House, Telford

In the endeavour to refurbish Hollinswood House into Shropshire’s inaugural Community Diagnostic Centre, Hazlin are actively supplying doors and frames integral to the project’s success. Commissioned by The Shrewsbury & Telford NHS Trust in collaboration with PHD Architects our customer, Morris Property are carrying out this transformation of a former four-story office block taking a significant step towards enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region.

The project demanded a comprehensive repurposing of the building necessitating fire-rated and acoustic doors and frames across all floors. The specifications included an American White Oak veneer finish, coupled with 2mm PVC protection to safeguard door edges and faces. Attention to detail not only ensured durability and longevity but also facilitated ease of maintenance going forward offering long-term value to the end-user. The incorporation of removable and replaceable PVC protection offers a compliant, pragmatic solution to potential maintenance issues without necessitating expensive door replacements.

An extension of the program was required to meet necessary client changes. However, the team’s flexibility and collaborative approach ensured seamless adaptation to evolving needs. Working closely with Morris Property, Hazlin diligently adjusted to the revised program, reaffirming their commitment to meeting client expectations without compromising on quality or timelines.

By supplying products fully compliant with the BM TRADA Q Mark Scheme, Hazlin ensured full adherence to standards mandated by The Shrewsbury & Telford NHS Trust team. With this commitment to quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction Hazlin continually look to make strong and reliable contributions to the project’s overall success.
